I’m Laura S Kimble, the proud owner of LSK Consulting Services.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I’ve always had a passion for helping others manage their money, so I embarked on a career in the financial industry. I was a Corporate Accountant for the first twenty years and then a Master Tax Advisor with a Tax Retail company for fifteen years.

During this period, I encountered clients from all walks of life and took up many roles, including directing a team for a Fortune 500 corporation. Working in various situations taught me to be flexible, and I developed creative solutions to assist my clients.

The close relationships I built with my loyal clients catapulted me to start a practice, offering specialty services as an IRS enrolled agent and financial analyst. When I first launched my enterprise, I was unprepared for the demand, and I soon realized that I couldn’t do this alone.

Luckily, Erika Ketchum fell from heaven into my office and has helped the business stay on track and grow. As my assistant partner, she’s been dependable, and I wouldn’t have made it through the first few years without her hard work.

My firm is now wrapping up its third tax season, and each year gets better as we improve our systems and our communication with clients. My philosophy is to meet clients where they are and provide a pathway to managing their financial lives instead of reacting to situations.

I also believe that a fundamental understanding of taxes and finances is crucial to an individual’s ability to amass wealth. Therefore, I render services with an educational component, so clients understand what is possible.

To achieve this objective, I maintain a personal connection with my clients, which builds trust and enhances my integrity. As an ethical person, I will do all I can to provide a favorable outcome within the tax code.

I also attribute my success to keeping fees affordable and appropriate. In addition, I love delving deep into research to solve problems. Therefore, I’m always learning and expanding my financial knowledge to help clients get ahead.

As a result, it fills me with immense satisfaction when I can make clients happy by helping them take control of their finances and save tons of money in the process. These moments are a big win for me and make me excited about the future of my business.

When I’m not number crunching, I love to do jigsaws. (My passion for puzzles and problem-solving inspired the logo of my business). My other pastimes include crochet, needlepoint, and embroidery.
